An Alberta Clipper will spread an area of freezing rain across portions of southern Saskatchewan and western Manitoba tonight.

The threat for freezing rain will diminish through the day on Saturday.

Roads and walkways will likely become icy and slippery. There is risk of injury due to slips and falls.

Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces.
