Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected.

A fast moving Alberta Clipper continues to give heavy snow to the higher terrain of western Manitoba early this morning. Localized accumulations of 15 cm or higher is likely by the time the system departs this afternoon.

There is also a risk of freezing rain, which continues into this morning.

Visibility will likely be reduced at times. Road closures are possible.

Snowfall warnings are issued when significant impacts are expected due to snowfall accumulations.
