    • River Chenab at Marala, Khanki and Qadirabad is expected to fluctuate between Low to Medium flood levels and may attain High flood level at Marala during the period. • Medium to High level flows are expected in nullahs of Jhelum, Chenab (Dora, Dotta, Dowara, Bhimber, Halsi, Aik and Palkhu) and Ravi (Bein, Bassanter, Deg and Sakki). • Flash flooding is expected in the hill torrents of DG Khan.

    • • Heavy rains may cause Urban flooding in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sialkot, Multan and Faisalabad. • Stay updated with the latest weather forecasts, flood advisories, and warnings issued by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) and local authorities. • Avoid unnecessary travel during periods of heavy rainfall, particularly through inundated roads, underpasses, and flood-prone areas. • Residents living near nullahs, hill torrents, and low-lying areas in the Chenab, Ravi, and Jhelum catchments should remain vigilant and be prepared to move to safer locations if advised by the authorities. • Urban residents should avoid crossing flooded roads or driving through standing water, as water depth and flow can be deceptive. • Local administrations and emergency response agencies should ensure the readiness of drainage systems, emergency response teams, and evacuation arrangements in vulnerable areas. • Farmers are advised to manage their crop activities keeping in view the weather conditions and take care of their livestock as well.

    Kashmir: Rain-wind/thundershowers (with scattered heavy falls at times very heavy) is expected in (Neelum valley, Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot, Poonch, Hattian, Bagh, Haveli, Sudhanoti, Kotli, Bhimber, Mirpur from 30th July to 05th August with occasional gaps. Punjab/Islamabad: Rain-wind/thundershowers (with scattered heavy falls at times very heavy) is expected in Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Murree, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Wazirabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Okara, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Chiniot, Khushab, Mianwali, Layyah, Bhakkar, Noorpurthal, Sargodha, Sahiwal and Pakpattan from 30th July to 04th August with occasional gaps.. Tourists and travelers are advised to remain cautious during the forecast period.
