FLOODING POSSIBLE IN PARTS OF THE NORTH-WEST AND CENTRAL CATCHMENTS FROM MONDAY A trough of low pressure is forecast to deepen over south west Northern Territory during Sunday, then extend into South Australia on Monday. Fed by humid tropical winds, this system is expected to generate widespread rainfall, which may be heavy in parts of North West and Central catchments from Monday. Catchments in the Flood Watch area are moderately wet and are likely to respond quickly to this rainfall. Forecast rainfall may cause river and creek level rises, prolonged overland flooding, and ponding from Monday onwards. Roads access may be affected, and some communities and homesteads my become isolated. Check road conditions before travelling.
