Winds gusting as high as 45 to 50 mph. * WHERE...Boone, Lee, Ogle, and Winnebago Counties. * WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 1 PM CDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Whiteout conditions are expected and will make travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Plan on slippery road conditions. Widespread blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

Winds gusting as high as 50 mph. * WHERE...Boone, Lee, Ogle, and Winnebago Counties. * WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 1 PM CDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow, making for near blizzard conditions at times, which will make travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning commute. Gusty winds could also bring down tree branches.
