River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Mississippi River near Herculaneum. * WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon to Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 28.3 feet, Near this height, the walking trail (extension of Station Road) at Bates Memorial Park begins flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 22.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 28.4 feet Friday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Sunday morning. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
