Damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall are also possible. Tornado Location: Near Chitek Lake Motion: Moving northeast at 20 km/h Hazards: - Tornadoes - Wind: damaging (90 - 110 km/h) - Hail: loonie to ping pong ball size (2.5 to 4.5 cm) - Rain: heavy (15 - 50 mm) ### This is a very dangerous and potentially life-threatening situation. Tornado warnings are issued when a thunderstorm is producing or is likely to produce a tornado.

Thunderstorm Locations: From about 30km west of Chitek Lake to Lowther Lake Motion: Moving northeast at 30 km/h Hazards: - Wind: damaging (90 - 110 km/h) - Hail: up to quarter size (up to 2.5 cm) - Rain: heavy (15 - 50 mm) ### Heavy rain may cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury. Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
