    Moderate Flood Warning for Norman River and Norman River at Normanton

    Moderate flooding is occurring along the Norman River at Normanton, Glenore Weir and Yappar River. Major flooding is occurring along the Lower Walker Creek at Burke Development Road and along Belmore Creek at Guildford. The river is currently at 4.03 m and steady, with moderate flooding (4.00 m). The river level is estimated to be around a peak near the moderate flood level. The Norman River at Normanton is likely to remain around the moderate flood level into the weekend. Further rises are likely as upstream flows arrive.

    Moderate flooding is occurring at Glenore Weir and Yappar River. Major flooding is occurring at Burke Development Road and minor flooding is occurring at Guildford. The Norman River at Normanton observed an initial peak at 4.04 m Thursday afternoon, with moderate flooding. The river is currently at 3.97 m and steady, around the moderate flood level. The Norman River at Normanton is likely to remain around the moderate flood level into the weekend. Further rises are likely as upstream flows arrive.
