In north central Missouri, Caldwell, Carroll, Chariton, Linn, Livingston, Macon and Randolph. In west central Missouri, Lafayette and Ray. * WHEN...Until 1000 PM CDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 949 AM CDT, the transportation department reported continued road closures across the region due to earlier heavy rainfall. - This flood warning will replace the previous warning that expires at 10 am. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Marshall, Macon, Higginsville, Lexington, Brookfield, Carrollton, Concordia, Marceline, Slater, Salisbury, Huntsville, Sweet Springs, Braymer, Brunswick, Waverly, Bevier, Norborne, Hardin, Keytesville and Bucklin. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

    ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Missouri... Blackwater River near Blue Lick affecting Saline and Cooper Counties. Blackwater River at Valley City affecting Johnson and Pettis Counties. Crooked River near Richmond affecting Ray County. Lamine River near Otterville affecting Cooper County. Petite Saline Creek near Boonville affecting Cooper County. Wakenda Creek at Carrollton affecting Carroll County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Blackwater River near Blue Lick. * WHEN...Until late Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Cropland and pastures along the river flood. At 29.0 feet, Livestock in pastures along the river may be endangered. Extensive damage also occurs to cropland and pasture. At 31.0 feet, The Missouri-Pacific railroad tracks are overtopped. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:45 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 27.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 29.7 feet early Thursday afternoon.
