Another high-pressure system from extends to the lower China, expected to cover the upper Vietnam, the upper Laos including the upper Northeast and the South China Sea by today (7 May 2026) with the southerly and southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the upper country where hot weather occure. More rain with gusty winds and heavy rain are likely in the country. People in the country should beware of severe conditions by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards including beware of the heavy rain and accumulated rain that may be flashing floods and overflows. Farmers should prevent for crop damage and animals danger. People in the upper country should keep healthy due to variable weathers. The easterly wind prevailing over the South and the Gulf is strengthening with heavy rain in the South. The wind and wave in the Fuld and the Andaman Sea are likely about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershower. All ships should preceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.

ด้านตะวันออกของภาคเหนือ และภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนบน จะมีฝนฟ้าคะนองเพิ่มขึ้น กับมีลมกระโชกแรง และฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง เนื่องจากบริเวณความกดอากาศสูงหรือมวลอากาศเย็นอีกระลอกหนึ่งได้แผ่ลงมาปกคลุมประเทศจีนตอนล่างแล้ว คาดว่าจะแผ่ลงมาปกคลุมประเทศลาวตอนบนและประเทศเวียดนามตอนบน รวมถึงภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนบน และทะเลจีนใต้ ในวันนี้ (7 พ.ค. 69) ประกอบกับมีลมใต้และลมตะวันออกเฉียงใต้พัดนำความชื้นจากอ่าวไทย และทะเลจีนใต้เข้าปกคลุมบริเวณประเทศไทยตอนบน ในขณะที่บริเวณดังกล่าวมีอากาศร้อน สำหรับลมตะวันออกที่พัดปกคลุมภาคใต้ และอ่าวไทยจะมีกำลังแรงขึ้น ทำให้ภาคใต้จะมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง ส่วนบริเวณอ่าวไทยและทะเลอันดามันมีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 1 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
