Maximum wind gusts: northerly 80 to 100 km/h, stronger winds possible along the coast.

Locations: central and northeastern Newfoundland.

Time span: overnight Monday night into Tuesday night.

Remarks: The snow will combine with strong winds to cause widespread poor visibility in blowing snow with potential for blizzard conditions over some areas.
