* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

* WHERE...Oahu, Maui, Molokai, Lanai, Kahoolawe, and the Big Island.

* WHEN...Through this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Significant flooding may occur due to the overflow of streams and drainages. Roads in several areas may be closed, along with property damage in urban or low lying spots due to runoff. Landslides may also occur in areas with steep terrain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A kona low, currently north of the islands, has drawn abundant moisture northward. Rounds of moderate to heavy rainfall are anticipated. The heaviest rain is expected to last through tonight.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 543 AM HST, radar indicated heavy showers and thunderstorms moving over Honolulu from the southwest, with rain falling at a rate of 1 to 2 inches per hour. Expect heavy showers and thunderstorms to quickly pass over the southeast half of Oahu through the early morning hours. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Honolulu, Manoa, Maunawili, Palolo, Waimanalo, Kaneohe, Kailua, Kalihi, Hawaii Kai, Moanalua, Ahuimanu, Kaneohe Marine Base, Kahaluu, Salt Lake, Makiki-Tantalus, Nuuanu, Waialae, Makiki, Waialae Iki and Moiliili.
