The Meteorological Service has issued a Thunderstorms at Sea Warning for inshore and offshore areas of the north and south coasts. Small boats should not go to sea. Those already at sea should head for a safe landing site. Lightning strikes may injure or kill people and damage electrical equipment in small boats. Stay dry if possible. Wear rubber boots or shoes and rubber gloves. Hail stones may injure people in small open boats. Cover your head with a hard hat or board. Stay informed.
