* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of south central Kansas, including the following counties, Butler, Sedgwick and Sumner. * WHEN...Until 1000 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Urban areas prone to flooding are expected to see flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 419 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Very heavy rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour have been observed. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Wichita, Derby, Andover, Haysville, Park City, Valley Center, Bel Aire, Mulvane, Goddard, Rose Hill, Maize, Clearwater, Colwich, Downtown Wichita, Kechi, Eastborough, South Wichita, Mcconnell Air Force Base, East Wichita and Eisenhower National Airport.
