The Yinzhou District Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow lightning warning signal at 12:58 on May 26, 2026: Due to the influence of strong convective cloud clusters, lightning activity has occurred in upstream areas such as Yuyao in our district. It is expected that there will be showers or thunderstorms in all towns (streets) in our district and Xinming, Juxian, Meixu and other streets in the high-tech zone in the next 6 hours. Thunderstorms may be accompanied by strong lightning, short-term heavy precipitation and local thunderstorm winds.
