Snow, ice pellets, freezing rain, and significant rainfall is expected. Locations: Channel-Port aux Basques and vicinity to the Burin Peninsula. Potential snowfall: 5 to 10 cm, except 2 cm or less over the Burin Peninsula. Potential rainfall: 25 to 50 mm, locally higher amounts possible. Time span: Wednesday evening until Friday morning. Remarks: A period of quickly accumulating snow, followed by ice pellets and freezing rain are expected Wednesday night and Thursday morning before a changeover to rain on Thursday morning.
