    ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Illinois... Rock River at Latham Park affecting Winnebago County. For the Rock River...including Rockton, Latham Park, Rockford (Auburn Street), Byron, Dixon...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and forecast to continue. * WHERE...Rock River from Swanson Road in Roscoe downstream to Shorewood Park in Loves Park, including the Latham Park gauge. * WHEN...Until early Thursday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 10.5 feet, Low-lying sections of Shore Drive are threatened between Wilson Avenue and Park Road in Machesney Park. Water overflows low-lying river banks along East Drive in Loves Park. Low-lying areas of Martin Memorial Park are inundated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 10.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to only gradually fall through next week and will likely remain above flood stage through the middle of next week. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
