Instability will accompany the moisture and allow for increased chances of isolated to scattered thunderstorms across central Oregon and portions of the eastern mountains. Brief heavy downpours, gusty outflow winds, small hail, and frequent lightning will be possible... * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 698 Southern Blue Mountains, 700 Central Mountains of Oregon and 705 Southern Deschutes National Forest. * TIMING...From 11 AM this morning to 11 PM PDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly.     * AFFECTED AREA...Areas in southern Oregon along the Cascades and along the western foothills and slopes of the Cascades, including Fire Weather Zones 617...622...and 623. * THUNDERSTORMS...Moving roughly north to northeast around 20 mph. Storm mode will be mostly wet thunderstorms, but dry lightning strikes can occur outside of wet cores. Some stronger storms will contain hail. * OUTFLOW WINDS...Isolated gusts up to 45 mph. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Breezy southwest to west winds with lower humidity and unstable conditions will develop each afternoon and evening Thursday through this weekend.
