Yellow watch - severe thunderstorm - in effect Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts. Locally heavy rain is also possible. A line of thunderstorms has formed in the Sudbury area of Ontario. These thunderstorms are heading east and will enter Southern Témiscamingue in the early afternoon. Some of these thunderstorms could become severe. Nautical activities may be hazardous due to sudden, severe wind gusts over bodies of water. ### Damage to roofs, fences, branches or soft shelters is possible. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
