Blizzard conditions continue at Arviat today with falling heavy snow and strong winds. Wind gusts to 70 km/h along with up to 10 cm of fresh snow is expected. Conditions will improve later this afternoon as the winds and snow ease. Another system approaching from the east Sunday afternoon will bring strong northerly winds with another 5 cm of falling snow. Blizzard conditions will be likely again late Sunday through Monday morning. ### Travel will be hazardous due to near-zero visibility.
