    Heavy rain has moved out of the area, but elevated streams in the Western Maine Mountains could move remaining river ice. Ice jams can lead to unexpected flooding.

    * WHAT...Rising stream levels and a risk for ice jam flooding.

    * WHERE...Portions of south central, west central, and western Maine, including the following areas, in south central Maine, Southern Somerset. In west central Maine, Central Somerset. In western Maine, Northern Franklin, Northern Oxford and Southern Franklin.

    * WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.

    * IMPACTS...Elevated streams and rivers across the Western Maine Mountains will continue to move river ice, keeping a risk of ice jam related flooding through midday. Once the streamflows recede this afternoon the flood risk will improve.

    * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Concerns for ice jam flooding. River ice can cause unexpected flooding and should be monitored closely.

    ...The National Weather Service in Gray ME has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in New Hampshire...Maine...

    Saco River At Conway affecting Carroll, Cumberland and Oxford Counties.

    * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

    * WHERE...Saco River at Conway.

    * WHEN...From this morning to just after midnight tonight.

    * IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Expect flooding of low-bottom fields and private roads in Conway and North Conway. Minor flooding in Transvale Acres, Moat Brook Bridge, and the lower part of E. Road flood.

    * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:45 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 7.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to a crest of 9.5 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage this evening. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
