Yellow watch - severe thunderstorm - in effect Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain. Locations: Portions of southeastern Manitoba. Timing: This afternoon and evening. Hazards: Large hail and strong, gusty winds. Remarks: Thunderstorms, some of which may become severe, are expected to develop over southern Manitoba this afternoon and track east through the evening.
