The Wuyi County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for lightning at 02:15 on August 7, 2026: Due to the influence of strong convective cloud clusters, it is expected that there will be lightning activity in the next 6 hours in the townships (towns, streets) of Jiaodao, Baiyang, Lutan, Hushan, Shuxi, Baim, Datian, Wangzhai, Yuyuan and other areas in our county. Areas with thunderstorms may be accompanied by short-term heavy precipitation and locally strong convective weather such as 6-8 level thunderstorm winds. Please pay attention to preventing the adverse effects of lightning on construction projects, outdoor operations, etc.
