For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total snow and sleet accumulations between 1 and 3 inches and ice accumulations between one tenth and one quarter of an inch possible. * WHERE...Pine and Carlton and South St. Louis Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Fond du Lac Band and the Mille Lacs Band, Hinckley and, Lena Lake areas. * WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 7 AM CDT Friday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Friday afternoon through late Saturday night. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Worst conditions will be closer to Lake Superior as strong winds off of the Lake will lead to higher snow totals and greater reductions in visibilities.
