Winter storm conditions continue. Another round is expected on Saturday. What: Total snowfall and ice pellet amounts near 10 cm. Peak snowfall rates of 2 to 3 cm per hour. Reduced visibility in heavy snow and local blowing snow. Freezing rain with ice build-up of 3 to 5 mm. When: Continuing into Friday afternoon. Additional Information: A Colorado low will bring mixed precipitation to the area. Snow and ice pellets this evening will switch over to ice pellets and freezing rain tonight. Areas south of Gogama and Kirkland Lake are expected to transition to rain later tonight as temperatures rise above the zero degree mark. A rainfall warning is also in effect for some locations as the combination of heavy freezing rain and rain may lead to significant precipitation amounts. Please refer to the rainfall warning for details. A second Colorado low will move into the area Saturday morning, possibly bringing another round of snowfall, ice pellets and ice build-up due to freezing rain. ### Roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Road closures are possible. Local utility outages are likely.
