At 12:10 on July 26, 2026, the Wusu Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for lightning: it is expected that from day to night, there will be lightning activity in towns and urban areas such as Shiqiao Township, Chepaizi Town, Baiyanggou Town, Xidagou Town, Tabulehete Township, and Gultu Town in Wusu City, as well as in some areas of the southern mountainous region.
