ประเทศไทยตอนบนยังคงมีพายุฤดูร้อนเกิดขึ้น โดยเฉพาะบริเวณภาคเหนือ และภาคกลาง ซึ่งมีลักษณะของพายุฝนฟ้าคะนอง ลมกระโชกแรง ลูกเห็บตก และฝนตกหนัก รวมถึงอาจมีฟ้าผ่าเกิดขึ้นได้บางพื้นที่ เนื่องจากบริเวณความกดอากาศสูงหรือมวลอากาศเย็นจากประเทศจีนได้แผ่ลงมาปกคลุม ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ และทะเลจีนใต้แล้ว ในขณะที่ประเทศไทยตอนบนมีอากาศร้อน สำหรับภาคใต้มีฝนฟ้าคะนองบางแห่ง เนื่องจากลมตะวันออกและลมตะวันออกเฉียงใต้พัดปกคลุมอ่าวไทย ภาคใต้ และทะเลอันดามัน
