Hydrologic Outlook issued June 20 at 2:22PM CDT by NWS Chicago IL

    vanaf: 20-06-2026, 14:22
    naar: 21-06-2026, 05:00

ESFLOT A steady soaking rain is expected Sunday afternoon and evening. The highest rainfall amounts are forecast south of I-80 where totals in excess of 1 to 2 inches are possible. Many rivers and streams across the region remain elevated from recent heavy rainfall. Thus, rainfall amounts of this magnitude will result in renewed rises on area streams and rivers, with some potentially topping flood stage. While confidence is growing that the greatest flood threat will be south of I-80, some uncertainty in exact placement of heaviest rainfall remains. Anyone in or near flood prone areas should thus closely monitor latest forecasts. This outlook will be updated by early Sunday morning.
