* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Oahu, Maui, Molokai, Lanai, Kahoolawe, and the Big Island.
* WHEN...Through Sunday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Significant flooding may occur due to the overflow of streams and drainages. Roads in several areas may be closed, along with property damage in urban or low lying spots due to runoff. Landslides may also occur in areas with steep terrain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A kona low west of the islands has drawn abundant moisture northward. Rounds of moderate to heavy rainfall are anticipated. The heaviest rain is expected to last through tonight, except for the Big Island where the heaviest rain is expected Sunday.

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has extended the
* Flash Flood Warning for... The island of Maui in Maui County
* Until 445 AM HST.
* At 119 AM HST, emergency management reports multiple road closures across the island, including in Lahaina, Kahului, and Kihei. This ongoing flooding, combined with the potential for new showers and thunderstorms to develop and lift north across the area, will keep the risk of flash flooding elevated through the early morning hours.
