    The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from 2 PM to 8 PM PDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. * AFFECTED AREA...In Oregon, Fire Weather zones 620 and 622, including the East Evans Creek fire, as well as Medford, Grants Pass, Ashland, Cave Junction, and Shady Cove. In California...Fire weather zones 280. This includes Happy Camp, Etna, and Fort Jones. * WIND...Northwest to west 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. * HUMIDITY...Minimum humidity 8 to 15 percent. * ADDITIONAL INFORMATION...Increasingly unstable conditions could further increase fire activity. * DETAILED URL...View the hazard area in detail at https://weather.gov/wrh/hazards?wfo=mfr

    * WHAT...Hot temperatures of 95 to 100 degrees with low temperatures around 60 to 65 degrees. * WHERE...The Umpqua Valley in central Douglas County, including the communities of Roseburg, Elkton, Drain, Sutherlin, Tiller and Camas Valley. * WHEN...Until 11 PM PDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures will lead to a moderate risk of heat illnesses, especially for those without adequate cooling methods. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Periods of smoke could limit the ability to open windows for cooler air at night.
