A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas... Nearshore and open waters of Lake Huron north of Alabaster... At 643 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated showers, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These showers were located along a line extending from 10 nm southwest of Cheboygan to 16 nm west of White Stone Point, moving northeast at 35 knots. Locations impacted include... Cheboygan, Adams Point, Sturgeon Point, Bois Blanc Island, Black River, Thunder Bay, Marquette Island, Forty Mile Point, Cordwood Point, Tawas Bay, Middle Island, Presque Isle Light, Hammond Bay, Point Nipigon, Au Sable Point, Nine Mile Point, Harrisville, and Rogers City.
St Ignace to False Detour Channel; 5NM East of Mackinac Bridge to Presque Isle Light MI including Bois Blanc Island; Presque Isle Light to Sturgeon Pt MI Including Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary; Sturgeon Pt to Alabaster MI; Lake Huron from 5NM east of Mackinac Bridge to Presque Isle Lt to the US/Canadian border beyond 5 NM from shore; Lake Huron from Presque Isle Lt. to Sturgeon Point MI 5NM off shore to US/Canadian border; Lake Huron from Sturgeon Point to Alabaster MI 5NM off shore to US/Canadian border
