Locations: much of central to eastern Nova Scotia along the Atlantic coast.
Total snowfall: 10 to 15 cm, possibly higher along the Atlantic coast.
Time span: early Monday morning until Tuesday morning.
Remarks: Snow is expected to spread west to east beginning near midnight tonight reaching eastern Cape Breton by mid morning Monday. The snow is expected to be wet and heavy. Strong northeasterly wind gusts on Monday could cause reduced visibilities in blowing snow.
There is some uncertainty as to where the heaviest snowfall will occur as areas along the Atlantic coast could see snow mix with ice pellets Monday evening.
