The Chongqing Forest and Grassland Fire Prevention and Extinguishing Command, Chongqing Emergency Management Bureau, Chongqing Forestry Bureau, and Chongqing Meteorological Bureau jointly issued the "Forest and Grassland Fire Orange Warning Signal" at 10:30 am on July 30, 2026. 37 districts and counties in our city, including Liangjiang New Area, Dadukou, Shapingba, Jiulongpo, Nan an, Beibei, Banan, High tech Zone, Tongnan, Hechuan, Tongliang, Dazu, Rongchang, Yongchuan, Bishan, Jiangjin, Qijiang, Wansheng, Nanchuan, Changshou, Fuling, Dianjiang, Fengdu, Liangping, Zhongxian, Wanzhou, Kaizhou, Yunyang, Fengjie, Wuxi, Wushan, Wulong, Pengshui, Shizhu, Qianjiang, Youyang, Xiushan, etc., have experienced high forest and grassland fire danger meteorological levels. It is expected that the above-mentioned districts and counties will continue to have high or extremely high forest and grassland fire risk meteorological levels from July 30th to August 3rd, with a high risk of forest and grassland fires.
