On Saturday we expect moderate avalanche danger for region Sør-Troms. Avalanche problem is wind drifted snow (slab avalanches) and wet snow (loose snow avalanches).

Saturday locally strong wind gusts around 30-35 m/s are expected from southwest veering northwest throughout the day, and strong gale 9 at the coast. The wind will increase first in Lofoten and Vesterålen, and decrease last in Nord-Troms.
