Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Heavy rain is expected to develop across the region today through tonight ending Tuesday morning. Widespread totals of 1 to 1.5 inches of rain are anticipated with locally higher amounts of 2 to 2.5 inches possible in the southern upslope of the Longfellow Mountains and across the Downeast.
