The lake effect snow will persist into Tuesday before gradually tapering off. The snowfall amounts will depend on the placement and duration of the most persistent snow bands. In addition, west winds will continue to gust to 35 to 45 mph at times tonight and Tuesday morning leading to blowing snow and poor visibility where the bands persist.
