Areas of dense fog and freezing fog have been observed in the Walla Walla Valley and along the Blue Mountain foothills this morning. Visibility less than one quarter mile was observed from Touchet to Whitman along highway 12. Within fog, visibilities of one- quarter mile or less are expected to persist into late morning. Use extra caution while traveling as visibilities can change quickly. If fog is encountered, use low- beam headlights and keep plenty of space between you and other vehicles.
