Special Weather Statement issued March 16 at 3:37AM CDT by NWS Little Rock AR

    De: 16/03/2026, 03:37
    Para: 16/03/2026, 19:00

Expect breezy northwest and north winds to continue into the early afternoon hours...with wind speeds around 10 to 20 mph sustained. Wind gusts of 20 to 30 mph will be possible at times. Very dry air will be in place over the area this afternoon...with minimum afternoon relative humidity values between 20 and 30 percent. This will make it possible for wildfires to ignite and spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. The very dry conditions will return for Tuesday as well...but wind speeds will be much lower. If a wildfire is observed, report it by dialing 911 or by contacting the Arkansas Forestry Division at (800) 468-8834.
