Also some flooding along the flood control project area in Amherst such as the bike path and golf course. Minor flooding in Ellicott Creek Park. Little or no overall damage. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:15 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 7.72 feet. - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this evening to a crest of 8.7 feet just after midnight tonight.
