Yellow warning - wind - in effect Damaging winds are expected. What: Southerly wind gusts of up to 90 km/h. When: This afternoon. Where: Chilcotin (Near Alexis Creek and Dog Creek). Additional information: A low pressure system is approaching the B.C. coast and will bring strong southerly winds to the Chilcotin region this afternoon. Gusts of up to 90 km/h are possible and will mainly affect Alexis Creek, Dog Creek, and Highway 20 between Williams Lake and Puntzi Mountain. Winds across the Chilcotin region will shift to southwest this evening with local gusts of up to 80 km/h possible. Winds should ease before midnight. ### Local utility outages are possible.
