Yellow warning - wind - in effect Damaging winds are expected. When: Now until late this afternoon. Where: East Vancouver Island - Nanoose Bay to Campbell River, Sunshine Coast - Sechelt to Powell River. Remarks: A low pressure system is pushing onto the B.C. coast. Strong southeasterly winds 70 gusting to 90 km/h have developed through the Strait of Georgia. The strong winds are expected to ease later this afternoon. Another round of potentially impactful winds are expected to develop later Saturday afternoon. ### Local utility outages are possible.
