There is also a slight risk of a tornado. Nautical activities may be hazardous due to sudden, severe wind gusts over bodies of water. ### Damage to roofs, fences, branches or soft shelters is possible. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
