The National Weather Service in Missoula MT has issued a Fire Weather Watch. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, and 109 in Northwest and west-central Montana. * TIMING...From Saturday afternoon through Saturday evening. * WINDS...West winds 10 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Relative Humidity between 15 to 25 percent. * Winds remain elevated in Fire Weather Zone 105 into late Saturday night and early Sunday morning but relative humidities will recover into the 40 and 50% range above valley floors. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

    * AFFECTED AREA...Eastern Glacier/Toole/Central/Eastern Pondera/Liberty, Hill and Blaine Counties, Lewis and Clark National Forest Rocky Mountain District-Rocky Mountain Front, Chouteau and Fergus Counties, Lincoln Ranger District of the Helena National Forest, Central and Eastern Lewis and Clark National Forest Areas and Helena and Townsend Ranger Districts of the Helena National Forest. * WINDS...West 15 to 25 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph. Along the Rocky Mountain Front, west winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph and isolated cases of 75 mph.. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 8 percent. * TEMPERATURES...Between 100 and 110 degrees on Saturday. * COLD FRONT...A strong, dry cold front will arrive Saturday evening. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will spread rapidly. Containment of any ongoing or new fires may be very difficult. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Isolated wind gusts up to 75 mph along the immediate eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountain Front. * WHERE...East Glacier Park Region, Northern High Plains, and Eastern Glacier, Western Toole, and Central Pondera Counties. * WHEN...From Saturday evening through Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Recreationists should be aware of any trees that could fall while establishing camps or hiking. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The most intense winds are likely to occur between 12 AM and 8 AM Sunday when mountain activity will be at its peak.
