The monsoon trough lies across the upper North and upper Laos into the low-pressure cell over the coast of upper Vietnam while the strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Isolated heavy to very heavy rains are forecast in the North, the Northeast, the East, and the South regions. The strong winds force the waves in the upper Andaman Sea up to 2–4 meters high and above 4 meters high in thundershowers. In the upper Gulf, the waves are expected to be 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers.

ภาคเหนือ ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ ภาคตะวันออก และภาคใต้ฝั่งตะวันตก มีฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมากบางแห่ง เนื่องจากร่องมรสุมพาดผ่านภาคเหนือตอนบนและประเทศลาวตอนบน เข้าสู่หย่อมความกดอากาศต่ำบริเวณชายฝั่งประเทศเวียดนามตอนบน ประกอบกับมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ที่พัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทยมีกำลังแรง สำหรับคลื่นลมบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบนมีกำลังแรง โดยมีคลื่นสูง 2-4 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองมีคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 4 เมตร ส่วนอ่าวไทยตอนบนมีคลื่นสูง 2-3 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 3 เมตร
