Winter storm. What: Snow mixed with ice pellets and freezing rain. Total accumulations of 15 to 25 centimetres of snow and ice pellets. When: until overnight Friday night. Where: Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, Charlevoix and Lower St. Lawrence. Additional information: Moderate to strong winds will produce local blowing snow, especially in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region. A second low pressure system will once again give significant snowfall amounts over these areas on Sunday. This system may also produce a mixed bag of precipitation, including a period of freezing rain. ### Roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Road closures are possible. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
