Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Well above normal moisture levels for September are expected to result in scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms capable of producing heavy rainfall Monday. Rain totals of 1 to 2 inches are expected with the stronger storms with isolated amounts over 2 inches possible. Areas that received substantial rainfall in the 48 to 72 hours will be more susceptible to flash flooding. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 933 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.2 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Willcox, Pearce-Sunsites, Cochise and Kansas Settlement. - This includes the following highways... Route 191 between mile markers 42 and 66. Interstate 10 between mile markers 331 and 343.
