Significant precipitation has caused rapid water level rise along water ways and in low-lying areas. Floodwaters move swiftly, posing serious risks to life and property. Overland flooding is occurring or imminent in multiple locations in western Manitoba. Many roads have been damaged from flood waters and are unsafe.

The rain will continue to ease heading into Tuesday evening. ### Localized flooding is likely. Some roads may become impassable. Utility outages are likely. Significant property damage is likely. Hydrologic Forecast Centre has increased the alert to an Overland Flood Warning due to significant rain forecast for western Manitoba. Rainfall amounts of 60-100 mm is possible for these areas between June 29 and July 2. Heavy rainfall over a short period may lead to high surface runoff and overland flooding.
