Am Mittwochmorgen bilden sich aus den Alpen heraus vermehrt starke, lokal unwetterartige Gewitter, die rasch zu einem größeren Gewitterkomplex zusammenwachsen und sich nordost- bis ostwärts verlagern. Die Hauptgefahr geht von Starkregen aus. Gebietsweise fallen 25 bis 40 l/m² in einer bzw. 40 bis 60 l/m² in wenigen Stunden. Punktuell sind Mengen um 80 l/m² nicht ausgeschlossen. Ferner gibt es stürmische Böen, lokal auch Sturmböen mit Windgeschwindigkeiten zwischen 65 und 80 km/h (Bft 8-9) und vereinzelt Hagel. Am Mittwochmittag zieht der Gewitterkomplex nach Österreich und Tschechien ab.
