Some residences will be surrounded by depths approaching 3 feet in streets. Highway 177 north of Blackwell... and Hubbard Road southeast of Blackwell are closed. Blackwell Avenue is overtopped. Rural lands are covered by floodwaters ranging up to 4 feet in depth in extreme northeastern Grant and Kay counties. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 31.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 28.0 feet. - Forecast...The Chikaskia River is expected to rise to a crest of 32.3 feet just after midnight tonight.
