Cowlitz River at Kelso affecting Cowlitz County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Cowlitz River at Kelso. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...Above 24.5 feet, flooding of a few residential areas in Kelso begins. Also expect widespread flooding of pasture land and low lying roads. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:13 AM PDT Saturday the stage was 23.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 18.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 5:13 AM PDT Saturday was 23.5 feet. - Forecast...The river will oscillate above flood stage with a maximum value of 23.4 feet and will slow fall through late Saturday night.
